Breathe Free was born from a deeply personal journey of healing and resilience. Our founder, Sydney Hicks, experienced a life-altering event related to domestic violence, which led her on a path of survival and transformation. Fueled by a passion to heal and a commitment to holistic therapy, Sydney embarked on a mission to create spaces where individuals could find solace, support, and empowerment.

As the owner of the Breathe Lounge & Wellness spa, Sydney witnessed firsthand the profound impact of holistic therapies on mental and emotional well-being. Inspired by her own journey of healing, she envisioned a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free holistic therapy and wellness resources to those in need.

With a heart full of compassion and a vision for change, Sydney founded Breathe Free.
